Council Brings on Two New Senior Advisors

                     WASHINGTON – Two leading homeland and national security experts, Rajesh De and Andrew Maner, have been selected as Senior Advisors to the Homeland Security & Defense Business Council.  The Council’s Senior Advisors consist of a select group of private sector experts, most of whom, are former high-level public officials that possess unique expertise in the Homeland Security Enterprise field.

Raj De is a Partner at Mayer Brown and leads the firm’s Cybersecurity & Data Privacy practice and its National Security practice.  Mr. De spent nearly two decades in private practice and public service across all three branches of the United States government, holding senior appointments in the White House, the Department of Justice, and the Department of Defense, most recently serving as General Counsel at the National Security Agency.

Andrew B. Maner is Chairman of The Sentinel Company and Managing Partner for Liberty Advisor Group.  Mr. Maner has extensive industry experience providing consulting and technology advisory services to many Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and National Security agencies.  In addition to his business executive background, Mr. Maner served in several government leadership roles including DHS Chief Financial Officer and Chief of Staff to U.S. Customs Service (now U.S. Customs and Border Protection).
