Key Mission and Management Areas of Emphasis for New Administration
The forum was led by 18 Council members and focused on providing TSA program managers and contracting officials with the industry perspective of doing business with the DHS. It provided insight into how industry makes decisions and mitigates risk throughout the acquisition process. The session also highlighted how information sharing and engagement earlier and throughout the acquisition process can increase the likelihood of successful outcomes.
The Council describes how the IoT will transform homeland security and raises the importance of strong government-industry partnerships.
The Council released its 2015 Annual Report at its Annual Membership Meeting on April 6th.
