The Council will hold an Executive Tour to Quantico, VA on Tuesday, April 16th to visit the Federal Bureau of Investigation’s Laboratory Services and Operational Technology Division (OTD). Members will receive facility tours, briefings, and demonstrations from FBI staff during the one-day visit. Attendees will also take part in a joint lunch session with senior FBI leaders of both divisions and learn more about their current and future initiatives.
The FBI’s Laboratory is one of the largest and most comprehensive crime labs in the world. It includes biometric analysis services, forensic services and capabilities, and scientific analysis. The OTD develops and deploys technology-based solutions to enable and enhance the FBI’s most significant intelligence, national security, and law enforcement investigations/operations. Its capabilities include advanced electronic surveillance, digital forensics, technical surveillance, tactical operations, and communications capabilities.
