Thursday, September 15, 2016
8:00 AM – 10:00 AM
Recognizing that the Homeland Security Enterprise is comprised of much more than DHS, the Council has asked Bloomberg analysts and David Haun, a former OMB official now with Grant Thornton, to provide an assessment of the opportunities throughout the federal government, and the trends going forward as we transition to a new administration.
According to a Bloomberg Government estimate, the U.S. government spent about $24 billion on homeland security-related contracting in fiscal 2015, with more than half done by 27 agencies other than DHS.
Join us to examine the government-wide homeland security market, the opportunities outside DHS, and an industry discussion on the scope and definition of the market.
