Executive Tour And Briefing At The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives Headquarters - September 2012 As a follow-up from a recent Thought Leadership Executive Briefing, ten members of the Council participated in a tour and roundtable discussion at the Washington, DC headquarters of the ATF. Council members met with James McDermond, AD, Office of Strategic Intelligence and Information; John Torres, DAD, Office of Strategic Intelligence and Information; Victoria Gold, DAD for Science & Technology and Deputy CIO; and Kevin O'Keefe, Chief of the Criminal Intelligence Division. Topics of discussion included the current status of technology systems, information sharing challenges, mobility, BYOD policies, and ways of improving industry government dialogue on technical problems and solutions.

Pentagon Force Protection Agency - May 2012 A group of Council members toured the Pentagon Force Protection Agency's Integrated Emergency Operations Center, followed by a roundtable discussion with Steven Calvery, Director of the PFPA, Dr. Dan Walsh, Chief of the Science and Technology Office, and other officials.

National Counter-Terrorism Center - March 2011 The Tour also included a lunch and discussion with General Michael Hayden.
Washington Regional Threat & Analysis Center - August 2010 Council members toured the Washington Regional Threat and Analysis Center (WRTAC) and were briefed by the Homeland Security Bureau of the D.C. Metropolitan Police Department. The group met with the Deputy Director of the DC Department of Health and the WRTAC Deputy Director; visited the Unified Command Center, Emergency Operations Center, and Fusion Center. DC's Assistant Chief of Police of the Homeland Security Bureau briefed members about the initiatives to train the private sector on what constitutes suspicious activities, and when to report it. Council members were invited to participate in and contribute to an WRTAC Private Sector Advisory Board, whose mission is to facilitate coordination between the WRTAC and the private sector.

U.S. Secret Service Headquarters - October 2009 The Council toured the United States Secret Service Headquarters. The Tour included the Intelligence Division, Museum, Protection Detail, Duty Desk, Financial Crime Division and Counterfeiting Investigations Division.
